Founders
Jonathan Wilson has analyzed and developed successful learning in a career that spans 19 years and some of the region’s top companies: Procter and Gamble, Assurex Health, and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Learning Scientist is a brain child born of Jonathan’s love for developing carefully designed, measurable learning. With a B.A. in Visual Communication Technology and an M.Ed. in Learning Design, Jonathan marries his artful visual design with clear, effective learning strategies. Jonathan’s vision in starting Learning Scientist is to help every company, regardless of size, realize their learning objectives.
Laura Wilson wears many hats: editor, writer, promoter, designer, speaker, cheerleader. Her B.A. in English and M.A. in Technical and Scientific Communication were the starting point of a successful career in communication. She has taught for 15 years at the University of Cincinnati; she is currently an Associate Professor Educator in the Rhetoric and Professional Writing track where she teaches introductory writing; social media and promotional writing; scientific and technical writing; and web authoring. She believes that words matter and that good communication is required for effective learning. In addition to teaching, Laura has developed and delivered personalized writing/communication workshops for a myriad of local companies.
